Looking Ahead
BrightBay Heritage Press is growing. From mysteries and thrillers to heartfelt adventures for younger readers, our catalog reflects the diversity of Southern storytelling. We look forward to continuing to expand, with every book a testament to craft, heritage, and heart.
About the Founder
Michael Hual, founder and author, created BrightBay Heritage Press to bring his own stories — and eventually, the stories of others — to the world in a meaningful way. His work spans dark Southern mysteries (Echoes of the South Trilogy) and children’s adventures (Adventures in the Florida Wild series).
Michael is also a husband, father, and lifelong Floridian, weaving real places and experiences into his storytelling. His goal is simple: to build a legacy of books that entertain, inspire, and endure.
Our Mission
At BrightBay Heritage Press, we believe:
Stories should feel alive — filled with mystery, emotion, and unforgettable characters.
Books should honor both heritage and imagination, blending history, culture, and creativity.
Publishing should be accessible and professional, giving readers works they can treasure.
The Story Behind the Press
BrightBay Heritage Press was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to share stories that honor heritage, explore mystery, and celebrate the beauty of the Southern landscape.
BrightBay Heritage Press is more than a publishing imprint — it’s a creative home built on tradition, imagination, and family values. We publish works that carry the warmth of the coast, the whisper of the moss, and the heart of the people who live beneath them.
